Development Background

So far, an elastic bandage was used to cover the surgical site but it wasn’t effective enough because of an imprecise fixing and compression.

Upon request from the medical team, the X-band was developed to prevent swelling on the side and bottom of the neck after thyroid surgery.

How to wear

Prepare the right size for the patient.

Place the Velcro on the front of the breast and attach the Velcro at the center of the breast.

Put enough of a gauze in the shoulder strap pocket at the surgical site as deemed necessary. Adjust the compression intensity and attach diagonally.

Bring the shoulder strap on the other side to the front as well and attach by crossing in an X shape.
(Put the gauze inside the pocket in the same way if the opposite side also had surgery.)

* When wearing the product, use medical Velcro to freely adjust the compression intensity to your preference.
